Ideal for sheltered apiaries and bee houses, the AZ design reduces heat loss during inspections and protects bees from direct sunlight, wind, and sudden weather changes. This allows colonies to be managed even when conditions are less than perfect — especially important during swarm prevention and queen rearing.
Because multiple hives can be placed side by side or on two levels, large apiaries can be built within a compact space while increasing colony security.
